Welcome to the Musicians My Conference page. On this page you will find Conference events that are either specifically for musicians (“Musician Meetings”) or that may be of particular interest to musicians. Registration is required to attend conference, although orchestra musicians affiliated with a member orchestra (without conducting or administrative responsibilities) may register for Conference at no cost. There are some seminars and events for which there are additional fees which are listed on the registration form.
However, most offerings are free and open to musicians. Items with an asterisk (*) listed below indicate advance registration and/or additional fee required. To see which sessions and events require additional registration fees, please see the registration form at https://leagueconference.org/individual-registration.aspx.
There are several types of sessions at Conference, which you will find defined below:
Orchestra Leadership Academy seminars: These seminars require an extra fee, and take place prior to the official start of Conference. They are focused, topic specific, and generally for smaller groups. For more information, please go to www.leagueconference.org/ola.aspx
Toolbox Sessions: These are open to all who attend Conference, and cover a range of topics that are of interest to those in the orchestra field. You will find those toolbox sessions that may be of most interest to musicians below. For more information on all toolbox sessions, please go to www.LeagueConference.org/toolbox.aspx.
Musician Meetings: These sessions are for musicians only, the first of which includes a free lunch for musicians on Thursday, June 1 (RSVP required – see below for details), and continues with additional meetings through Friday afternoon.
In addition, you will see several references to the Delegate Lounge. This is our exhibit hall, where business partners from acousticians to publishers have booths and materials for all Conference attendees to peruse.
There is much to discover at Conference – you’ll have to come for yourself just to see how much.
