American Symphony Orchestra League's 61st National Conference will
bring together the decision makers at America’s orchestras. This unique
experience is your best opportunity to rub elbows with orchestra
professionals from all over the country.
We
will again provide the traditional Delegate Lounge/Exhibit Area that
participants have enjoyed in the past. The benefits to your
organization include:
- One complimentary 3' x 2' tabletop display space to every Business Member organization
- Option to upgrade display space to standard or deluxe booth for an additional fee
- Gatherings in the Delegate Lounge/Exhibit Area, including the traditional Exhibitor/Manager Reception
- Scheduled time for specific constituencies to spend in the Delegate Lounge
- New Innovation Stations and E-mail Terminals
- Exhibit Hours that take flow and availability of delegates into consideration
Delegate Lounge/Exhibit Area
Located on the 2nd
Level of the hotel in the California Ballroom, the Delegate
Lounge/Exhibit Area is within steps of many meeting rooms, making it
more convenient to get acquainted with orchestra decision makers. The
Exhibit Area is open Wednesday morning, May 31st through Friday
afternoon, June 2nd at varying times (see below for a schedule of when
the hall is open). The Exhibit Area is the ideal setting to display
your offerings and to meet with delegates throughout the Conference. In
keeping with the Lounge atmosphere, tables and chairs will be arranged
throughout the room for delegates and exhibitors to meet and conduct
business. League services and Conference registration will also be
located within the Exhibit Area.
Innovation Stations—New this year!
Delegates
looking for creative ideas from colleagues around the country will stop
by the Delegate Lounge between sessions to stimulate their imagination
at Innovation Stations. Innovation Stations, highlighting project
descriptions and ideas, will be located throughout the hall in order to
increase traffic flow.

such as Drayage, Signage, Booth Furnishings, Porter Service, Florist,
and Labor will be included in the exhibitor service kit that you will
receive upon registration. The earlier you register the earlier you
will receive this vital information regarding your exhibit.
Space Assignments and Location
As
in past years, space assignments will be made based on the number of
years as an exhibitor at the League's Conference as well as the date
registration and payment is received – so please register early to
receive priority in booth assignment. You will receive a confirmation
letter when your registration form has been processed. We will try to
process your booth assignment by early May, pending final hall
arrangements with the Exhibition Company. Prompt location assignment
also depends upon exhibitors submitting registration forms by the early
registration deadline (April 17) and being in good member standing
(i.e. all membership dues and SYMPHONY advertising invoices current).
Sponsorship Opportunities
Additional
visibility is available to Conference sponsors. If you would like to
discuss sponsorship opportunities, please e-mail Stacey Weston at sweston@symphony.org or call her directly at 646-822-4009.
Discounted Accommodations
The
2006 Conference takes place primarily in the Westin Bonaventure Hotel
and Suites, with some additional activities at Walt Disney Concert
Hall. We have reserved a block of rooms at the Westin Bonaventure and
Suites, located at 404 South Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, CA 90071, at
a special rate of $159/night plus state and local taxes. To reserve
your room, book online
or contact the hotel directly at 213-624-1000 and mention the American
Symphony Orchestra League. This special rate is only available until
May 6, 2006.
Delegate Addresses
Enhance your Conference
experience by contacting delegates before they arrive. To facilitate
advance contact with delegates, we will e-mail a complimentary
file of Conference delegate addresses on or around May 8 to those
exhibitors who register by the early registration deadline of April 17.
Please indicate your interest in acquiring addresses on the exhibitor registration form.
Exhibitor’s Company Logo and Link on the Conference Web Site
For
the second year in a row, the League will list all registered
exhibitors on the Conference site along with your logo and a link to
your web site. In addition to your registration, please send a jpeg of
your logo and your web address to webmaster@symphony.org.
We reserve the right to resize your logo as necessary. This listing
will be updated once a week. The earlier you register, the sooner your
logo will appear on the Conference web site.
Exhibitor Guidebook
For
exhibitors who register by the early registration deadline of April 17,
we will again offer a five-line paragraph (maximum of 30 words) in the
program book alongside the standard listing of address,
representatives, and booth number. This paragraph can contain an
annotated description of your company, or artists and works featured at
your display. Due to production concerns, we cannot guarantee that
listings received after April 17 will be included. The League
reserves the right to edit your paragraph for length and accuracy.
